1 Month Old

Miss Brooklyn turned one month today.  I can't believe how fast it has gone and how fast she is growing!! She is starting to stay awake more and you can even catch her cooing and smiling.  She is wonderful and amazes me every day.  I am thankful to have such a wonderful little angel!!!  Thanks Aunt Brittany for making the shirt!! My favorite things to do are sleeping on my mommy and daddy's belly and snuggling!!

Rolling over

On March 1, little muscle woman Brooklyn rolled over from her belly to her back.  At first, I thought it was just a fluke, but she did it two more times after that.  She loves to lift her head up during tummy time and is one strong little girl.

First pictures

On Tuesday, February 23, we went to Miss Jackie's house to get pictures done.  Aunt Emily came along to help.  Here are the wonderful pictures!!

Meeting Teagan

On Saturday, February 19, I got to meet my cousin Teagan.  Aunt Emily, Uncle Jeremy and Teagan came up to Dayton to visit.  Soon after arriving, Teagan fell and hit his head on the corner of the wall.  He busted his head open and they had to go to urgent care.  After 5 stiches and Teagan came back and was ready to play.  He likes to look at Brooklyn and laughs when she cries.  We took some pictures of them sitting next to each other (I still have to get them from Emily) and Teagan rubbed on Brooklyn's head and laughed.  Aunt Emily and Teagan came back to visit on Monday and Teagan got to hold Brooklyn.

Kisses for Brooklyn

Miss Brooklyn Marie was due on February 12, 2011.  She decided to stay in mommy's belly a little longer.  Contractions started at about midnight on February 15.  At 5 am, mommy and daddy went to the hospital.  They told mommy that she was 2 centimeters dialated and in early stages of labor and sent her home.  With contractions continuing to happen and getting worse, mommy and daddy went to the doctor for a scheduled appointment.  Mommy was 2.5 centimeters dialated.  Contractions continued.  Mommy and daddy went back to the hospital around 1 pm.  They admitted mommy and started a pitocin drip to make the contractions stronger.  8 hours and an epidural later, Brooklyn was born.  She made her appearance at 9:50.  Brooklyn weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.  Our perfect little angel.
