4th of July

We celebrated Brooklyn's first 4th of July by going to the Harrison park on the 3rd and taking a walk through Fairborn park on the 4th.  We didn't get to see any fireworks, but we had a couple great days!!

For our first anniversary of our 2nd wedding, we went to Haha's pizza and went swimming in the back yard.  A year ago and a week from this date, we found out that we were pregnant with little miss Brooklyn!!

We celebrated Eric's first father's day by having dinner with my dad and then visiting Eric's dad.  Eric is an amazing dad!!! Thanks for everything you do for both of us!! We love you!!

4 months old!!

Brooklyn is already 4 months old!! She is growing SO fast!! We went to the doctor and she is 15 pounds and 25.5 inches long!! She now likes to stand up, play in her jumper, and can sit up all by herself.  She is starting to laugh and gives everyone lots of smiles.

Brooklyn loves to be in the pool.  On May 22, she went swimming with Teagan for the first time.

Brooklyn swam in the big pool for the first time on June 11.  She enjoyed the pool very much and mommy and daddy liked spending time with her in the water. 

Brooklyn's first wedding

Brooklyn went to her first wedding on May 29.  She did such a great job and loved being there.  Congrats Bill and Melissa!!

On May 12, we got a little blow up pool so that Brooklyn could swim.  She loved being in the pool and looked super cute in her swim suit!!

3 months old

Brooklyn is growing up so fast!! After discovering gripe water and using bottles we have a much much happier baby!!  She has started sitting up by herself for 20-30 seconds by herself.  When she is on her belly she moves her legs and tries to move around.  Her favorite things to do are sitting up, playing with mommy and daddy, and playing with Teagan.

First Mothers Day

On May 8th, I celebrated my first mother's day.  Daddy had to work so we went to Cincinnati to visit Grandpa, Aunt Emily, Uncle Jeremy and Teagan.  We went to great grandma's for brunch.  I am very thankful to be a mom and love every minute of it.  Having a little girl is the greatest thing in the world and I love being able to call myself her mommy.

Brooklyn visits school

On Friday, May 6, Eric brought Brooklyn to school for my students to meet her.  They held her and played with her.  They really enjoyed meeting her and I think she enjoyed meeting them.  She expecially liked Mark and smiled lots for him.
